The Carpathian Mountains, sights and history

The trip offers a mix of gentle and demanding walking and the nature of the landscape is such that both will be experienced on many of the days. We will be using signed mountain trails most of the time and the going under foot is generally good. 'Luggage' will be transported between accommodation by vehicle where appropriate, and you will only need to carry a day sack with the usual essential gear for day walks in the mountains - wet weather gear, water and packed lunch (on some days). We reserve the right to change the walks as necessary to suit the local weather conditions. Depending on flight arrangements there may be a chance to see more(or less!) on days 1 and 10.

Dates: on application
Price: £ 500 per person excluding flights, travel insurance, alcoholic drinks and any additional supplements mentioned above.
