Autumn colours and Sibiu . Travel through mixed forest, and follow the road to Sibiu with the Fagaras ridge rising steeply up from the Translyvanian plain. |

Long day. An early start puts us on the quiet roads through the area of old Saxon Villages and fortified churches, on the way to Sighishoira. This is a historic city, well known for it's painted houses and ancient architecture. |

Quieter day visiting Brasov, with time to walk around the old town, visit Mount Timpa, and see the hills around Poina Brasov. Farewell barbecue. |
